Hey everyone, you need to check out this site: paintscratch.com . It has every color, make and model of touch up paint you’ll ever need.   They sell paint pens, touch up bottles and even spray cans, which I know a lot of people are interested in. Their prices are reasonable and they have a guarantee on the paint. It’s a simple, easy to use site and ordering is a snap. The best part about it is that you get your paint within 5 days of ordering. I recommend this site to all and any car lovers who don’t want the hassle of going to a body shop for simple paint problems, when you can fix them in your own garage.

Look at this stuff, I see this golf cart everywhere. It’s called Mirrachrome looks pretty good for a chrome paint. Anyone try it yet? I saw on their page a bunch of other crazy paints as well.

But I cannot believe how expensive the paint is. For instance, at the VW dealership (stealership) they wanted $13 for Passat touch up paint in the little bottle. Of course, it was not in stock !

How can Pep Boys, et al, sell it for $3 or $4 plus tax  ?? Yes, the Pep Boys selection is very limited.

If anyone out there is interested in getting into paint touch up and repair as a business, I have a fully stocked van for sale. It's a pretty good business.

A few chrome paints are now on the market, a guy in Sout Australia (Silvia Forum) claims he had a lot of trouble with the Alsa Ghost Chrome, turns out he applied it incorrectly. A new poroduct from DNA in Melbourne is also available, reports are very good and the price is reasonable, they have a Virtual Chrome and an Ice Chrome, check out the web site at www.dna-paints.com the full technical dtaa sheets are not yet on line but the stuff rates highly!

Hmm... I don't know where you're getting your information from mate, but I've tried some products from dna-paints and I can't seem to be getting the right effect. Its like I'm not getting the right sort of information, especially the application guide; either that or the product is f**ked.

I'm a spray painter by trade from Brisbane and I'm finding better results using some of the Alsa products than this dna stuff.

I hate being ripped off for a product that doesn't work properly, it reminds me of the days when I really got pee'd off when I bought thousands upon thousands of dollars of useless product from ptw. I'd really hope who ever owns that damn company gets what's coming to them.

I'm sticking to Alsa, fewer problems and at least I'm getting warranties from my supplier.
